anyone using SensorThings API for IoT Data

I am building an application that hovers up various sensor data from various manufacturers. Initially my devices are just uploading ADC voltage readings with a simple MQTT client for a limited number of sensor. However, I want to expand and perhaps its best follow a known format and REST API to make my data available.

I read up on OGC SensorThings API which appears to have some of what I need. However I cant find any example projects that are using it much.

Is there anyone using it or something similar IoT data model.
