ESP32-S2-WROVER Module – 4 MB flash and 2 MB PSRAM: The ESP8266 started a small revolution by bringing WiFi to a small and cheap package that also had enough processing power and enough pins to get small things done. Then the ESP32 came out with tons of pins, Bluetooth support, and dual 240 MHz cores. Now get ready to take your IoT designs to the the next level with the ESP-S2-WROVER WiFi Module!
The ESP32-S2 is a highly-integrated, low-power, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi System-on-Chip (SoC) solution that now has built in native USB as well as some other interesting new technologies like Time of Flight distance measurements. With its state-of-the-art power and RF performance, this SoC is an ideal choice for a wide variety of application scenarios relating to the Internet of Things (IoT), wearable electronics, and smart homes.
Digilent Analog Discovery 2 USB Oscilloscope and Logic Analyzer: Digilent Analog Discovery 2 is a USB oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and multi-function instrument that allows users to measure, visualize, generate, record, and control mixed-signal circuits of all kinds – using any desktop computer or Raspberry Pi 4! Developed in conjunction with Analog Devices and supported by Xilinx University Program. This test and measurement device is small enough to fit in your pocket but powerful enough to replace a stack of lab equipment, providing engineering professionals, students, hobbyists. and electronic enthusiasts the freedom to work with analog and digital circuits in virtually any environment, in or out of the lab. The analog and digital inputs and outputs can be connected to a circuit using simple wire probes; alternatively, the Analog Discovery BNC Adapter and BNC probes can be used to connect and utilize the inputs and outputs.
Adafruit LPS22 Pressure Sensor – STEMMA QT / Qwiic – LPS22HB: We live on a planet with an atmosphere, a big ocean of gaseous air that keeps everything alive – and that atmosphere is constantly bouncing off of us, exerting air pressure on everything around us. But, how much air is in the atmosphere, bearing down on us?
This absolute pressure sensor, ST LPS22HB (a.k.a LPS22) can quickly and easily measure this air pressure, useful when you want to know about the weather (are we in a low-pressure or high-pressure system?) or to determine altitude, as the air thins out the higher we get above sea level. For example, at sea level, the official pressure level is 1013.25 hPa. You can use this sensor to measure the current pressure where you are right now to compare.
Enter the LIS331 family of accelerometers from ST, including the LIS331HH. As the model number suggests, the LIS331s are close cousins to the venerable LIS3DH accelerometer that is on every Circuit Playground, from the Circuit Playground Classic to the newest Circuit Playground Bluefruit. The LIS331s however can measure a wider range of acceleration values.
Copper Foil Sheet with Conductive Adhesive – 12″ x12″ Sheet: Copper sheet can be an interesting addition to your toolbox. The sheet itself is made of thin pure copper so its extremely flexible and can take on nearly any shape. You can easily solder to it, and the material itself can carry current just like a wire. On the back is an electrically conductive adhesive. The adhesive can’t carry significant current but it is very handy for sensing applications where you don’t want to solder the copper sheet.
Raspberry Pi 4 Model B – 8 GB RAM: The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is the newest Raspberry Pi computer made, and the Pi Foundation knows you can always make a good thing better! And what could make the Pi 4 better than the 3? How about a faster processor, USB 3.0 ports, and updated Gigabit Ethernet chip with PoE capability? Good guess – that’s exactly what they did!
The Raspberry Pi 4 is the latest product in the Raspberry Pi range, boasting an updated 64-bit quad-core processor running at 1.5GHz with built-in metal heatsink, USB 3 ports, dual-band 2.4GHz, and 5GHz wireless LAN, faster Gigabit Ethernet, and PoE capability via a separate PoE HAT.
And here’s a new variation, a veritable bundle of Soft Flexible Wire Mini NeoPixels! Attaching NeoPixel strips to your costume can be a struggle as the flexible PCBs can crack when bent too much. So how to add little dots of color? Use this stranded NeoPixel that uses soft cords of plated wire! They’re very small, so they’re easy to embed into any structure, costume, or wearable. The wires can be sewn over, or embedded in a casting.
Pre-Cut Multi-Colored Heat Shrink Pack Kit – 280 pcs: Heat shrink is the duct tape of electronics which we guess makes this heat shrink the colorful and exciting duct tape they sell at craft stores. This pack contains heat shrink tubes in five different colors – red, blue, aqua, yellow, and the classic Adafruit black.
