from Toilet Paper Roll Extender #3DThursday #3DPrinting
I was getting pretty frustrated with the size of the toilet paper rolls because it was impossible to get the toilet paper off the rolls without ripping them unless you were going painfully slow. So i created a simple arm to extend the roller from the wall.
One unintended benefit of this style is you only have to pop one end out and the other end will sort of dangle allowing you to remove the old and add the new roll without it falling (when it is late at night and you are tired it really makes a difference).
I did print with supports but i am not 100% sure that it is needed.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
