Each individual and every business is trying to make the best of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Those individuals who are fortunate enough to keep healthy are making tough adjustments in both work and regular life—from homeschooling school-aged children to working from home or dealing with the windfall from being let go from their jobs. On the enterprise front, tech companies are trying to make the best of a bad situation by making themselves as relevant, viable, and even indispensable as possible. Many software providers, for instance, are looking for a niche in this new topsy-turvy world to provide some sort of an essential service. This ranges from adjusting licensing to help enable more remote workers to providing infrastructure and other tech tools to hospitals, and beyond.
