Javier Gabás, Sales Area Manager for Agriculture, Water, Environment, Education & Research will be on the workshop “Digital Innovation in Agriculture and Beyond: Policy Insights” in Rome, 24th September.
This workshop builds on the main findings and policy recommendations of the OECD-TIP report “Digital Innovation: Seizing Policy Opportunities”, and the forthcoming OECD report “Digital opportunities for better agricultural policies: insights from agri-environmental policies”.
The session will discuss similarities and differences in the impacts of digital technologies on innovation across sectors and the implications for policy, reflecting on emerging opportunities and challenges and how sectoral and innovation policies should take these into account, with a focus on the agriculture, automotive and retail sectors.
A particular focus will be placed on adoption and diffusion trends, and the role of policies in these processes.
