Does anyone know of a reliable reference hardware for LoRaWAN sensor nodes?
I want to build remote sensor nodes (~1km) for temperature, humidity, air pollution, and occupancy over LoRaWAN for private purposes.
For this reason, I am searching for a model hardware (or combination thereof) that is reliable, tested for low-power consumption, easily adapted to accomodate different sensors and power supplies (e.g. solar panel, 18650 LiFePo4), and has strong support among makers (e.g. GitHub repos).
Other secondary aspects of such a reference hardware could be the battery charger (should have no or low load on the battery, when solar panel is turned off), the antennas should be well tuned to 868 MHz, sufficiently large flash and operating temperature range, etc.
